6:30-7:30 pm at Smith School Fun for the whole family! This free event is held every year to welcome in-coming first graders and their families to the Montessori program. It’s also a great way for returning Montessori students and their families to re-connect with each other after summer break. The Ice Cream Social is organized by HPMP volunteer parents and rotates among the three Montessori Elementary Schools in Helena: Smith (2009), Broadwater (2010), Central (2011). The Lottery drawing begins at 4 pm at the May Butler Center. You need not be present but parents are welcome to attend. During the lottery names are drawn to fill the first grade openings in Broadwater, Central, and Smith Montessori classrooms for the 2010-2011 school year.
